Localization of Broken Instruments Inside the Root Canal Using Pulse-Echo Mode of Ultrasonic Signal
This paper suggests a method for the identification of the broken instrument inside the RC. In this paper a novel ultrasonics signal recording method for tooth with the CNN architecture of VGG16 as a feature extractor and SVM (support vector machine) for the localization of the broken instruments are used. With this paper, authors localize the broken instrument inside the canal at three positions, i.e., top, bottom, and middle.

Artificial Intelligence Based Real Time Surveillance and Object localization System
This paper presents a robust wavelet domain based image processing technique for deblurring aerial images of suspension type insulators to be employed in the power transmission network. The proposed technique modifies the wavelet transform coefficients of blurred aerial images. The key contribution of this paper is validation of proposed algorithm on Xilinx ZedBoard to test the robustness of proposed technique for real-time applications.
This paper presents a vision-based approach for tracking the tuning parameters over the Smith chart display of Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) using Deep Learning (DL). Using a camera to detect the marker allows the ease in presenting the proof of concept without accessing or modifying the commercial VNA’s software. The realm of microwave cavity filter tuning has yet to incorporate real-time parametric tracking of tuning parameters on a Smith chart.
Real-time (RT) surveillance and object localization are very important for the detection of objects and their activities. For accurate and precise detection, an effective, fast, and reliable algorithm is needed. This paper proposes a novel real-time technique of surveillance and object localization, i.e., object and location prediction. The proposed technique is deployed on a Jetson-Nano ARM Cortex-A57 based developer board for RT implementation.
